Calicut University Distance Education Admission Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Arts in Afzal-ul-ulama
Candidates who have passed 10+2 from the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent are eligible for admission.

Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Arts in Political Science
Candidates who have passed 10+2 from the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent are eligible for admission.

Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

1. Candidates who have passed 10+2 from the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admission to the B.Com degree course.
2. Candidates who have not studied commerce subjects for 10+2 or an equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks are also eligible.

Eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Candidates who have passed 10+2 from Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent with not less than 45% are eligible for admissions.

Eligibility criteria for Masters of Arts
BA Degree with from a recognized University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent Overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5% and SC/ST candidates need only to get a pass OR B. Sc Degree with Statistics/Mathematics/ Computer Science (Core/Main), of this University or an equivalent* degree, with at least 70% aggregate marks or equivalent Overall CGPA. OBC/OEC candidates are eligible for relaxation up to 5% and SC/ ST candidates need only to get a pass.

Eligibility criteria for Masters of Commerce
Candidates of Bachelor in Commerce of the Calicut University or BBA who has secured not less than 45% marks from B.Com and other related programmes with aggregate percentage through their BBM/BBA programme, and/or bachelor programmes BBS/ other corresponding courses offered in various university and colleges, subject to minimum percentage requirements applicable; aggregate overall CGPA - for relaxation of not exceeding 5%, if admitted the student, are applicable amongst SC/ST/ or OBC.

B.Sc. Degree in Mathematics of this University or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks.
