To learn the MCA course from LPU in distance mode candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria that is mentioned below:

• Candidates must have done any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject with Mathematics/Statistics / QT/ Business Math as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level or equivalent.
• Candidates must have B.A. or B.Com. or B.Sc.  degree with Mathematics /Statistics / QT/ Business Math as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level or equivalent(with additional bridge courses)
• Only B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering) candidates are not required to take the extension course. The remaining B.Tech (all streams) candidates are required to study the extension course.

The admission procedure at LPU  takes place in online mode. New entry doses start every 6 months. The admissions session usually starts in the months of January and July every year. Direct admission is carried out on the basis of educational attainment, no further entrance exams are held for admission. The admission process for LPU Distance 2024 courses is as follows:

• The first step is registration. You have to register and pay a registration fee of ₹500.
• The next step is to complete the online application and submit the relevant documents.
• Now you have to pay the program fee.
