IIT Madras has started a free training program to provide technical training to students with skills that are ready for the workforce in the industry. The Pravartak Technologies Foundation is the organization behind this course. Networking, Linux and Windows Basics, Ticketing Tools, Cloud Basics, Storage and Backup Fundamentals, and Soft Skills are among the topics included in the program. To enhance skills that are ready for the industry, students will be taken for this free training course. This course will start the first week of July 2024 and run through September of the same year. The application deadline is June 12, 2024. Students who meet the requirements can register by visiting this link: https://forms.gle/7RhAKgrGRgwr17zd6. Students who will graduate with a BSc or BCA degree in 2023 or 2024 can apply to this course. They need to be qualified with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Mathematics. To be qualified for the course, students had to receive a minimum score of 60%. Instead of this, there is no employment guarantee with this program, placement support will be given through practice interviews and advertisements showcasing students' availability. The syllabus of the program will assist in equipping students with important skills to become members of any small- or mid-sized organization's IT support team. IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation, a Section 8 business, has a controlling hub for technologies including sensors, networking, actuators, and control systems. As an initial part of its National Mission on Interdisciplinary Computer-Physical Systems, the Indian government's Department of Science and Technology is paying for it and hosting it at IIT Madras.
