About July 2024 IGNOU Registration of Admission Deadline Extended

IGNOU has extended the last date to apply for fresh admission to the July 2024 academic year. So, students intending to apply for the July 2024 session in ODL and online programmes would now get another fortnight to register. The last date now is October 15. Earlier, the deadline to register for the ODL and online programmes was September 30.

The open university has extended the application date for all the online distance learning and online mode programs except the semester-based and certificate programs run by the IGNOU. The list of programs can be accessed on the official website, Students can check the list and apply accordingly.

A social media post of IGNOU stated: "Extension of last date for July 2024 Fresh Admission till 15th October 2024 in respect of all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode for July 2024 session (except for Semester based & Certificate programmes)."

How to fill out IGNOU Fresh Admission Form 2024

1st Step: Visit the official website of IGNOU

2nd Step: Click on the 'Register Online' tab followed by 'Fresh Admissions'

3rd Step: Link for New Registrations

4th Step: Fill up the registration form

5th Step: Create a 'Username' and 'Password'

6th Step: Fill up all details and submit the same

7th Step: By the login details sent through the e-mail ID and phone number, log in using the same and fill up all the details

8th Step: Select the programme

9th Step: Submit the IGNOU Registration For

Government scholarships are also available on the national scholarship portal at – scholarships.gov.in and students found eligible can apply for it once their admission is confirmed.
