Rajkot became the sole campus of the Saurashtra University following the incorporation of the Bhavnagar University. The university’s campus extends over an area of 363 acres. The University currently has jurisdiction in the districts of Jamnagar, Amreli, Surendranagar, Rajkot and Morbi.
Saurashtra University has multiple departments offering UG, PG, and PhD degree courses. Courses are offered in a variety of disciplines. The university has 29 postgraduate departments and 238 affiliated colleges. In order to apply for admission to any of the courses, candidates must take certain entrance exams.
