Bijni is a historical town situated in the Chirang district of Assam and has grown to become a new educational center in western Assam. Being rich in its cultural heritage and adjacent to the Manas National Park, Bijni has now become an attractive destination for students in the region. Bijni College, established in 1969 is one such undergraduate level college in arts and science at Bijni.
